341 mL bottle. Pink-orange(!) in colour with a medium sticky pinkish head. The aroma is wit-beer-sweet with orange and some kind of sweet berries. The taste is not as sweet as the aroma, which is a good thing. It’s actually a little on the tart side. There is something floral here, along with orange/grapefruit and wheat. Medium to high carbonation. Very refreshing.

Jul 17, 2008 Sample from BOMC shared with a friend. Floral aroma on a slightly pink amber color beer. Tart, sweet, and citric, with flavor of rose hips and spices. Interesting, but strictly a novelty. Not bad.

Jul 15, 2008 Updated: Jul 16, 2008Let’s clear something up off the bat: this shouldn’t be classed a Spice/Herb/Vegetable beer. It’s a witbier. Lots of witbiers use mystery spices, and this one happens to use one that’s pink.
That said, it pours a slightly hazy pink-amber, with a thin, bubbly pink-tinged head. Aroma is yeast-spicy, with witbier-wheat aroma, tropical fruit (lychee), hibiscus, and coriander. Flavour is floral, with tropical fruit, strong phenolics, mild citrus. Slightly sour. Nice light silky mouthfeel. The hibiscus is very well integrated; in a black glass this would be classic witbier with a hint of something exotic. The main flaw as far as I’m concerned (in an otherwise wonderful beer) is the heavy phenolic profile. It’s a testament to psychosomasis that so many are writing this witbier off as alcopop.

Jul 13, 2008 The aroma is actually like flowers and is very sweet with malt and sugar. The appearance is reddish with a pink head. The flavor is like the aroma and somewhat yeasty. The palate is average. Overall this is a good beer.

Jul 13, 2008 AWESOME aroma! Really smells like flowers. Very sweet and pungent. Appearance is an amber color that’s slightly pink. Thin, light pink head. Flavor is of rose hips and citrus. Thin palate. Overall- girly beer.
