Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottle 341ml. @ home.
Clear light to medium red color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy flowers, perfume, roses. Flavor is moderate to heavy fruity sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, blood orange. Body is light to medium, texture is watery - sticky, carbonation is soft. 0.341l - Ruby red pour with a pink head. Slightest of a floral nose. Reminds me of grapefruit juice, only without the sourness. A good beer, but I really have no idea when I’d want it.

pours a pinkish/lt. purple color that is hard to describe and has a foamy white/lt. pink head. aroma is very fruity and definitely has hibiscus...smells a bit like herbal tea. flavor is much the same and tastes like herbal tea with hibiscus. mouthfeel is a bit watery. the hibiscus lasts throughout as it lingers in the finish. very different and somewhat strange beer but not all that bad.

Aroma of red fruits and candy. Appearance is light red with white head. Flavor of chemicals with hints of fruits. Overall this is not a good beer. It taste a bit like home made bad beer.

A nose of raspberries, elderflower and sugars. Taste is of apples and peach. It’s acidic and dry. A strange brew. Not too enjoyable.

courtesy of Pascal Sauser - hazy dark reddish colour with a modest head retention; aggressive aroma of red fruits and flowers; moderate carbonation and malt body; fairly salty and very dry with some fruity and flowery reminiscence - dubious
