Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Very drinkable beer, light amber in color with a slight rose tint, nose of hibiscus, flavor is predominantly hibiscus with a sweet malt backbone, light body and carbonation, the slight acidity in this beer balances nicely the sweetness, I’m sure there are no hops needed in this beer.

Bottled. Poured clear pinkish-orange with a short-lived off-white head. The aroma picked up sour floral and orange zest over honeysuckle and light caramel. The flavor was similar to the nose with tangy citrus and floral leading.. slick honey and pale malts at the core.. a bouquet of light fruit, berries, and more floral on the back..tacky, sharp-ish finish of raspberries and flowers. Lighter-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. didn’t flow well enough to really be enjoyable.

Pours a crazy bright pink with a small white head. The nose has well, hibiscus. It’s sweet and tart. Hibiscus, lemon, rhubarb, apples, raspberries, and a musty finish. Very refreshing for a hot day. Unusual, but good.

Cloudy red orange with a small white head. Aroma of plums and raspberries with a herbal touch. Sweet and fruity flavour, with a tea-like note. Unusual flavour, but not really all that exciting

Pours a nice reddish color with a nice little white head to it. Has a smell of flowers and spice. Has a sour flowery taste it. Didn’t expect to like this one but it proved me wrong

Bottle. Unclear orange reddish body with a medium white head. Spicy aroma with some citrus, wheat and floral notes. Bitter flavour with lots of floral and flowery hints. I also get some orange and berries. Light wheaty notes.

Pours murky reddish brown with a 1 finger creamy, eggshell head that fades to a skim and ring pretty quickly. Aroma is wheat, lemon grass, sweet floral notes, light balsamic vinegar, rhubarb preserves and underripe strawberries. Flavor is spice, strawberry rhubarb pie, perfumy floral notes, light earthy notes, blood orange, wheat and lime. Palate is light to medium body with an oily entry and slightly dry, chalky finish. Not a bad brew, fairly interesting, but not really my thing.

Bottle. Cloudy pink-red pour with a light pink head. Aroma is loaded with grapefruit, flowers, sweet berries. Taste is a bit tart, citrusy and wheaty with some raspberry flavor in the finale. Pretty high carbonation short mouthfeel. Very easy drinking.
