Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Hazy pale red/copper colour, pink head. Floral nose with notes of marzipan and unripe red currant. Drysih with slight lactic tartness. Interesting perfumy floral notes sway over a light body with mildly spritzy mouthfeel. Gently fruity and completely without bitterness. Just by looking at it it may be mistaken for one of those new wave Belgian super crappy super sweet fruit beers, but this beer is for real, with a unique character yet super refreshing. In short - this is Dieu du Ciel quality.

Murky orange color with no head to speak of. I was very excited to see bottles of Dieu du Ciel in Dayton Ohio. The nose on this one settles down to an oddly decaying floral floral note with berries. The flavor has a fruity tartness, some candy sweetness, and some wet floral something that I can only assume if the hibiscus. Almost dusty, musty sense to this beer. i can’t tell if it has a date on it, but it seems as if it may be old.

Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. The look is amber to red in color with an off white head. The smell is sweet, some tart, spices, berries, and herbs. The taste is the same as the smell.

Draft at Volo. For me way too sour overall. Pours reddish brown colour. Hibiscus flowers dominate, berries and spice. Not bad, just not for me.

Bottle courtesy of thirdeye11. Clear orange pour. Smells sour with sweet/sour hops. Taste is fairly smooth with some niceness of fruit. Finishes well. Good.

bottled, thanks hanniku and Timo A! Red-amber color. Sweet flowery-berryish flavor with raspberry and orange. Sweetish berryish flavor with raspberry, strawberry, orange and some sulfur. Interesting long spicy, berryish and more beery finish. very original, wide variety of aromas and flavors from aroma to finish.

Clear light ruby with a bubbly head. Herbaceous aroma, with rose and sour candy. Light bitterness, soft easy drinking carbonation, with a but of a sour end.
