Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Clear amber/ruby body with a small beige head. The nose is loaded with hibiscus, sweet cotton candy and light citrus. The flavor is mostly just cotton candy, there’s light some light citrus and floral notes too. Overall, it’s sort of bland and lifeless overall. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation.

12 oz into pint glass. A slightly hazy copper pour with a bit of a pink hue with a big very light pink head. The aroma is very subtle but also very tempting - soft pale malt with a lot of flowery notes - not in a hoppy way, but rather almost like a perfume. The flavor is soft and refreshing and definitely unique - flowery, wheaty, sour, and a bit fruity. It is soft and light on the palate. Overall: a unique brew and a fresh approach to wheat beers. If you like wheats and sours this might be your beer. It isnt funky like a sour ale but actually sour in a way that reminded me a bit of DFH festina peche.

Strong refreshing aroma of spices. Initial taste is very sweet almost to the point of bitterness. Not fruity, but definitely plantlike with hibiscus flowers... Very bitter in large doses. The more I drink the lower I want to rank it.

(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on August 22, 2008. Pours a dissipating white head atop a deep orange body. Nose of wild yeast, orange peel and lemonade tonic. Flavour of tart oranges, wet wheat and sour lemon zest. Very interesting, perhaps not to my palate because of the sour/tart play.

amber/red/pinkish beer under a fizzy, quickly fading, pink head. aroma of flowers, hops, strawberries, peach, perfume. flavors of grapefruit, peach, soft flowery hops, berries, cherry soda, and crisp wheat. light, crisp, and extremely refreshing.

11.5oz bottle, served rather cold straight from my fridge, taste is kind of boring like a traditional wheat, the hibiscus seems to add more fragrance than taste, its okay, but not worth its price here in the states.. but as a sucker for a "gimmick" beer i had to try it.

Aroma is wheat, lemon, and spicy like faint pepper. No head. Taste is corriander, grass, lemon, and wheat. Little carbonation. Very drinkable with a refreshing finish.

Bottle. Scenty aroma. Slightly cloudy appearance. Flavours of peach and slight hint of spices. Little sour, yet leaves a sweet finish. Reminds me of Ungo bungo. Interesting.
