Pours a reddish, almost pink hue, kinda looks like a cup of tea with a small white head. The aroma is pleasant; mostly wheat and citrus. The flavor is basically a nice wheat beer with tons of citrus, some sour lemon and a floral aspect. Very full wheat profile with an interesting hibiscus addition. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Poured a really weird, hazy blood red with very little head. Spicy, floral, and kind of strange, but light and pleasant. Fairly acidic, it grew on me from beginning to end. The spiciness is strange at first, but seems to come into its own, tending toward a saison more than any style. durhambeer (1202), Durham, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales. Bright pinkish orange hazy pour; color is not overly appetizing. Sour, floral nose. Some lemon and wheat. Lemon peel, hibiscus, roses, and sour apple and wheat on the palate. Nice mouthfeel. A bit tart and slightly bitter overall. Unique, but not an everyday sipper. EricE (456), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2008 I always enjoy a nice spice beer, as they can be so creative. This was a nice example in the style, and the floral notes were pleasant, if unexceptional. Worth trying, though I probably won’t seek it out for regular purchasing. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice hazy brigth pinkish violet body with a thin head. Aroma is Very herbal and almsot vegetal from the flowers- floral, and perfumey as well- spices and black pepper. Flavor is a bit herbal, vegetal (not really in a bad way though), flowery, waxy flower petal like, fruity with a mix of spices, and a slightly astringent finish. nice beer overall. willblake (2174), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 27, 2008 20080726 12oz bottle from State Line. Nice floral aroma persists from the moment the bottle is cracked. Pretty, rose colored amber with little head, white, quick to fade, slight lace. Aromas are floral, light peppery notes, some mixed tropical fruits, passion fruit especially. Aggressive carbonation on the palate. This beer right off the bat seems saison-ish almost to the degree that it could be labeled as such. Nice dry beer with perfumy sweet flavor that is seemingly asian influenced - though I doubt it - atop a mils pale ale. really nice stuff. If it was locally available and less expensive I could see myself drinking this regularly especially in the warm weather. some tea notes. Refreshing and pleasant.
