lamas (709), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA Jun 18, 2008 11.5 oz. bottle. Smallish off-white head on top of a hazy amber body. Crisp and wheaty floral aroma. Goes down equally crisp and wheaty with citrus notes and very subtle hints of pepper throughout. Thin-bodied. On the acidic side of things. Love the experimentation, but had hoped for something more taste-wise. bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Jun 17, 2008 330 ml. bottle. Very floral aroma. Reddish tinged amber color with very little head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is floral, perfume, light pepper, and arguably much more. It’s not sweet, it’s very slightly sour/acidic, and it finishes, finally, wheat with something bitter. Very different, and very sipable. Very different. DrHomolka (726), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jun 17, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a very unique color. A pinkish, reddish, bright firey color that is more akin to a flavored iced tea than a beer. A fizzy bright white head forms then quickly diminishes to a ring of bubbles around the edges. A strong herbal, floral, perfumey aroma that reminds me of a leaves and roots store or poutporri. Some citrus elements are prevalent as well. It is unique and strong though I don’t know how pleasant it is, in a beer at least. Taste is pretty much the exact same as the aroma. Body is thin though not really detracting. Watery with a quick citrusy finish. An interesting effort but nothing special. TheCheeseMan (538), Saint Cloud, Florida, USA Jun 15, 2008 Pours a glowing pinkish-orange color. The aroma is floral and acidic, faintly perfume like. The favor is slightly tart, with the floral note being dominant. Not my favorite. sleepylopes (313), New York, USA Jun 14, 2008 intresting to say the least, a good beer but not the best effort from dieu. strange aroma of beer with a touch of herbal hot tea. the flavor gives a touch of the aroma and a mouthwatering finish. tough to discribe but worth a try. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Jun 11, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours very unique body - hazy reddish-pink with small white lacing. Aroma is fruit (strawberry) and wheat. Taste is pretty cool - some tart in the finish. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Jun 10, 2008 An aroma of dried cranberries. Pink with a hint of red with pink lace and head. A very odd beer in that the flavor is a flat pepperish kick. Thin and watery but carbonation is good. A good beer but odd in a number of ways. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 8, 2008 341ml brown bottle, from Goldorak! Poured a surprise pink/orange coloured with a fast fading white head. Hazy. No signs of lace in the glass. Aroma is floral, trace of spice, lemon and grass - a mix of fruity and sour. Flavour is of dryish wheat malt, lemon accents, a touch acidic, yet it has breif visits of tropical fruit (and/or fruit punch). Dry finish, tight active carbonation. Interesting brew, a bit wit-like, a bit fruity, a bit funky.
