Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Pours a pinkish orange with a off white head. Nice floral aroma. I really didn’t like this beer that much though. It was a soft wheat with a weird flavor/aftertaste. Some mild fruit flavor. Wouldn’t be bad to have every once in a while, but that is about it

Gorgeous pinkish orange hue with big large bubbled off white, slightly pink head. The nose is soft, somewhat spicey, floral and funky, with a touch of citrus. Not the hibiscus bomb that I had hoped for at all on the nose. Sadly I kinda see the ketchup and pepper nose that Linus is described. Flavor is more soft wheat, mild estery spices, pink bubblegum, way understated tartness, some woodiness, more floral notes, mild pitted fruits and vanilla. This is all over the place and still very soft... blek!!! I was so looking forward to this and am ver dissapointed. The hibiscus is totally lost all together, which is a shame because Ilove hibiscus. I was hoping for some fruity berliner weiss style beer and instead I got a soft messy wheat ale. Time to homebrew something worth drinking I suppose.

Wow I never go THIS far against the grain, but this was awful. I am going to be literal here. Aroma was ketchup and pepper. Pour was a nice deep mahogany with a one finger off white head. Taste was very complex but not good at all. A lot of wood and roses in the front with mint, spice and herbal iced tea dominating the aftertaste. This was just terrible to me, though as a novelty I am glad I tried it.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured hazy reddish color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Deep floral, fruity and spice aroma. Medium body with a dry texture. Medium sweet & sour flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderated duration. Refreshing complex beer.

Pours red/amber with a tall off-white head. Big floral nose to this one. Flowers, soft citrus, cherry, and a soft herbal note. Dried apricots and citrus come through with more of the flowery aromatics in the flavor.

Pours hazy maroon with a small fine white froth on top. Strong Belgian/French saison aroma of sweet malt, floral hops and fruity yeast, like potpourri. Very tangy sweet flavor. Honey, orange peel and lemon. Fruity bubble-gum finish. This stuff is very floral. Creamy smooth glassy body, a little bit sticky. Well crafted... just not my deal.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with reddish pink highlights and a small slightly pink head. The aroma is expectedly floral with hints of fruits and grass. The flavor includes a subtle mix of floral qualities from the hibiscus along with light cherry, honey, berries, and wheat grass. This is not usually a style I would seek out, but on a hot summer day this one could provide a refreshing breath of Spring.

Poured a light red pinkish color with an average white head. Aroma was lightly floral and with a light citrus wheat note to it. I dont really know what hibiscus smells like but i can imagine with this beer. Flavor was very smooth and had a lingering floral flavor to it. Very nice beer considering wheat beers are not usually my favorite.
