| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Foggy medium white-pink with finer carbonation and small white head. Instant aroma of sweet-sour raspberry and light floral notes. Taste is right away sour and acidic, revealing some dark berry fruit and spice and some flower. Interesting and different, pretty good feel. I just didn’t love it. LooseCannon (927), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Pours a two finger light pink head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Cloudy red/amber color with yeast left in bottle. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Slight floral nose. Flavor is mildly sweet and tart. Not bad but I like more beef in a beer. $4.70 for a 11.5oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma. jefcon (998), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Reddish-orange in color with a pink, yes pink, head. Aromas are a little rosy, a little yeasty. Grapefruit flavor dominates, with a souring finish. A little like a sauvignon blanc, with ripe citrus and crisp acidity. Definitely a unique beer -- I’m glad these ingredients are held against a wheat background, not a barley or other malt. The softness of the wheat benefits the delicate flavors. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Bottle. Hazy ruby/orange pour, little carbonation and a sour floral aroma. Flavor is herbal orange, some vanilla and finshes tart and citrusy. Ok beer, but not worth $5 a bottle. radagast83 (1289), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2009 11.5oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, bloody orange colored body with a thin, light pink, fizzy head that dissipates immediately and leaves a light lacing around the edges. As for the aroma...well it smells like a flower. Lots of perfume-like fruity aromas with some wheat, honey, slightly tangy citrus, and a light spicy yeastiness. Flavor is very well balanced. I was expecting it to be lopsided and lean more towards either a flowery spicing or sour fruit, but it really works well. Sweet malts with a light wheat taste, florals, a light acidic bitterness, honey, lemons, oranges, and a bit of a spicy yeast. Palate is full and clean with a moderate aftertaste of sweet wheats and flowery fruits. Overall, another winner from these guys. Great body for a beer with this type of flavor. They really made this work. Vertical Bacon Strips (889), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Why was I surprised when I poured this out and it was dull red / pink? Small white cap that lasts for awhile leaving very nice silty, spotty lacing on most swirls. Excellent, strong aroma that made my mouth water instantly. Tons of floral up front, sour raspberries, grains - very appealing. The taste does not live up to the same standards set by the aroma but it is still very good none the less. Sourness is number one here with a very weird drying, acidic after taste of flavours that just confuse. More grains, faint, dull raspberries or even weaker cherry, ample wheat that seems to hold back too much of the goodness hiding and well placed light spice. A pretty fine brew that fades in interest after the aroma factor.
