Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

A little floral, a little fruity in the aroma. Red pink color; short-lasting head. Flavor is quite nice. Light and airy, it’s smooth and easy drinking for sure.

Spicy and fruity floral aroma with wheat, melons and pine notable. Almost opaque reddish borwn coloured body is topped by a low but lasting, fine bubbled, white head that leaves some very nice lacing. Floral character is apparent in the flavour also along with spicy pine, honey, grass and very strong wheat flavours. Tartness appears at the end and balances nicely against the enduring sweetness. Very dry with strong, lively effervescence that awakens the tastebuds. Sampled at Mondial 2006.

Il ne faut pas oublier que c’est une blanche, mais pour une blanche, s’en est toute une. La description commerciale rend bien ce qu’elle est en réalité. Ce sera une de mes bières d’été assurément!

Cloudy strawberry-colored beer, with a thick white lace - strong aroma of herbs and rose hips, with a mellow tartness, wheaty character, some other floral components - it smells refreshing - nice soft mouthfeel - light-bodied and refreshing - starts out quite tart, with strong flowers and cooling herbs (almost minty) - very mild sweetness and wheat flavors emerge late - the finish tastes like rose petals and herbal tea - cooling, minty finish - very unique and quite delicious - great for the warm weather.

Robe rose voilée surmontée d’une mousse rose qui persiste. Arômes amères de fleurs et de houblon amérisant. Saveurs de fleurs, de malt, d’agrumes, de blé et de levure.

Mondial de la Bière de Montréal; Woohoo, its smells flower all over the place, big foamy head, pinky looking beer, taste is a boost of flower in your mouth with fruit. Sweet light thirst-quenching beer.

Everything about this beer is sophisticated. The pour is a soft rose, and smells of mild rose hand soap and fresh hibiscus flower. Crisp and quick on the palate, tastes of rose and embodies the sweet-and-sourness of the dry hibiscus flower in a sweet, balanced finish. Perfect brew for lunch outside on the patio.

Amber color. Very fruity nose.Aroma is a sublte mix of the swetness of fruits peach/apricot and herbs and spices. Does have a lot of body and not the fake extract that often plague other beers. A complex beer where they have managed to make . I ask for more.
