Rose hue, cloudy ale with accents. Ruby, pinkish white top. Quiet unusual yet presentable appearance.
Red rose, hibiscus, flowery character, grainy and soft fruity hints.
Strong fruity character, medium light bodied ale. Soft palate, flower fruity like. Gently placed till finish. I think that this ale meant to be different and it worked well. DDC good work.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2008 Pours like pink straw. Rocky white head with big bubbles. Herbal, flowery aroma with undertones of richer meat-like or musty aromas. Weird, undefinable flavors (well, it must be the hibiscus) - herbal, slightly medicinal. Good for beer in this category, but not one I would drink a lot of. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2009 12oz bottle from BOTW. Pours a bright berry red with a ring of white cream and some lace on top. Aroma is flowery and fruity with a touch of grain. The flavors start our fruity and just a touch sour, almost candy-ish. But the after taste fad to a boring light-beer note. Note sure what that is about - perhaps its the wheat beer base. An interesting beer that is a little like herbal tea, a little like chic beer. Sophisticated, yet basic. Suttree (2751), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2008 Reddish pink, with a pinkish white head. Odd aroma of orange and magnolia, I guess. Flavor is also peculiat, with a winey note and some cranberry or cherry, and just a bit of a medcinal note. I didn’t detect any hibiscus, but then again, I don’t know what hibiscus smells like. Or tastes like. Dickinsonbeer (3587), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is Very herbal and almsot vegetal from the flowers- floral, and perfumey as well- spices and black pepper. Flavor is a bit herbal, vegetal (not really in a bad way though), flowery, waxy flower petal like, fruity with a mix of spices, and a slightly astringent finish. nice beer overall. Pungent floral and spices. Probably don’t need to drink 6 in a row but a refreshing change of pace. ¾ (5011), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2008 Bottle pours a orangish pink color. Huge perfume nose of potpourri and soap and rosemary and of course hibiscus flowers. Bright, full, sweet up front, syrupy all around, consumed in a potpourri and floral perfume flavor, herb heavy and oily on the palate. Wow, I really don’t know what to think. I think I like it.
