The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Interesting flower beer. Thank you Mr. Jim Daley for taking me on this incredible journey. Red, light bodied, wheat aromas, mixed with fleeting aroma and flavor of habiscus. More of a novelty than anything else but enjoyable none the less as all beers from Dieu du Ciel are.

Beautiful rosy colour with a small, bubbly head. Aroma is extremely floral with a lot of hibiscus and some fruit. Taste is not overly sweet (a huge plus), with a slightly spicy finish.

11.5 oz bottle shared by ebone1988 for the damn book. The pour is a bright pink/red color with a light pink ring of head and s few spots of lace. The aroma is rather fruity and surprising. There is a light slice to it as well. It’s got a wet leafiness happening that I’m definitely not a fan of. It’s really interesting. Fruity and floral with a decent hop and a pretty strong spice. This should be pretty interesting; here we go. It’s incredibly sweet. There is like a lacto milkshake thing that just sucks. It’s not good at all. There is a light citrus and a dominating lactose sweetness. Jesus. The mouth feel is thicker and lightly heavy with soft carbonation and a lingeringly sweet, milky, strawberry smoothie happening. This isn’t good.

Damn book. Aroma is floral, fruity, spices, decent. Appearance is hazy, red, light light pink head. Taste is flowers and spice. It’s hot a resin to it. It’s pretty basic other than that. Mouthfeel is watery, light to medium body, light carbonation, floral aftertaste. Overall, I think the same result could have been achieved by just eating a hibiscus flower.

Nice fluo red colour. Very tropical and fruity noose. Interesting taste : citrus and hibiscus but it's subtle enough. Acidity is strong but the beer is well balanced.

Bottled. Pours light red/pink with a nice foamy pinkisch head. Mild bitterness, aroma of hibiscus and something like the taste of rosehip jam. Almost didn’t feel like a beer. Nice experience, though.

On tap at la caisse de Bieres. Pours a short head with ether aromas of raspberry. Hazy orange to red colored body. Fat in mouth with fruity length. The beer has not chosen its side between sweet thickness and ether lightness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a dark pink almost hazy brown color with a quickly dissipating little white head. No lacing. The smell had the hibiscus running in nicely over top of the sweet bready/yeastiness. Spices run pretty low, but I’m okay with that. The taste was semi-sweet through the bready/yeastiness. Floral sweetness and bitterness from the hibiscus hits nice and balanced. Lingering sweet bitter to sweet floral aftertaste. Delicate sweet wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs really light. Slight stickiness from bready/yeastiness. Overall, really nice witbier done Dieu du Ciel. Kudos to them for taking an unpopular style and doing it well. I’d have this again!

Pours a golden color with fizzy head. Aromas of cheap perfume, flavor was cloying sweet.
