The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottle. Pours a deep pink red with a small white head. Aroma is very floral, fragrant, fruity, berries, a touch gummy, with some rose water notes. Flavor starts with the flowery character, very forward, picking up some of those gummy notes, more berry, hibiscus. FInishing a touch sharp and fruity. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Interesting beer, perhaps a bit too floral?

Relatively clear rose pink with a good pale head. Aroma is rose, hibiscus, pomegranate, honey. Light bodied, slightly syrupy mouthfeel, sweet and floral on the palate with a light finish. Taste is rose water, hibiscus, pomegranate. Quite fruity and floral, not very beer-like but tasty.

On tap at DDC. A glowing reddish amber pour. Massive fruit and coriander aroma - very spicy, a bit over the top. Very smooth bodied with a round mouthfeel. The taste is coriander, celery salt, peppery - just tons of spice.

On tap at Tangent Cafe on The Drive in Vancouver. A raspberry coloured beer with generous pink head. A delicately fruity, possibly floral summer ale that would never be mistaken for a fruit cooler. Nice. 3.8.

11.5 oz bottle at 5.5% ABV. Lovely clear amber-red body with an average head; some sediment left on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is quite floral and a bit fruity. Good sweet/tart balance in the flavor where hibiscus is also obvious but not overdone.

A very interesting beer, not our style however. Pours a bright, bright red with almost no head. Smells and tastes like hibiscus soda, rather then beer. Definitely a lambic. Had in the bottle at Rockbottom Brewpub.
