COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottle. Pours a deep pink red with a small white head. Aroma is very floral, fragrant, fruity, berries, a touch gummy, with some rose water notes. Flavor starts with the flowery character, very forward, picking up some of those gummy notes, more berry, hibiscus. FInishing a touch sharp and fruity. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Interesting beer, perhaps a bit too floral?

There was a smell of sweet oranges. There was also leather and some flowers. The taste was oranges with some sour grapes and graham crackers. There was some sweet citrus character in the taste.

Soft wit beer aroma, but all your attention is taken by the colour, a highly unusual pink/ orange. The flavour and mouthfeel is wheat beer, but there is a hint of Belgian style sour on the finish. A brilliantly varied brewery.

341ml bottle poured in a Duvel tulip glass. A: Magnificent bottle art. Dieu du Ciel! trademark. The beer itself is also such a beauty. It pours something in between orange an pink color forming a medium to big bubbled and fluffy white head. A bit cloudy. Good retention and only few to no lacings left in the glass. A thin layer remains from beginning til the end S: Very flowery as expected. Spicy too. Reminds a Belgian Witbier with strong notes of flowers in it. Quite good and complex. Some notes of fruits (mainly cherries) and sweet grains as well T: Light sweet grains upfront. Strong notes of wheat. Some notes of sweet malts. Flower and spicy taste, I would dare to say some coriander and orange zest are present too. Again, reminds me Belgian Witbier spiced with flowers. A light hibiscus acidity in the mouth but not overwhelming but pleasant. Very mild bitterness, very light hops profile. Yeasts have Belgian Wit profile M: Light body. Medium carbonation and a flowery aftertaste with notes of wheat and spices O: Great drinkability. Another Dieu du Ciel! masterpiece. Very unique beer [ BA Review @ 7/28/2013 ]

On tap at St. Veronus. Beautiful deep rose body with a thin creamy off-white head. Flowery notes, amazing light bouquet. A little bit of a fruity sweetness to it with a very subtle tartness which really adds a lot. Light bodied with lower carbonation and low percieved bitterness.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Tap. Pours clear light with big pink head, quite dense. Aroma is spicy and floral along with some citrus fruits. Some wheat. Taste is really fresh and awesome fizzy mouthfeel. Obvious spicy herbal notes, but in a light way. Just a bit sweet and not really bitter. Went awesome with a bison burger.

Keg @ Brewdog, Birmingham. Pours hazy pink with a thin pinkish head. Perfume, pot pourri aroma. Taste is sweet fruity berries and a touch of sour. Quite a vibrant taste and very flavoursome. I did like this.
