COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottle. Pours a deep pink red with a small white head. Aroma is very floral, fragrant, fruity, berries, a touch gummy, with some rose water notes. Flavor starts with the flowery character, very forward, picking up some of those gummy notes, more berry, hibiscus. FInishing a touch sharp and fruity. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Interesting beer, perhaps a bit too floral?

330ml bottle @Les Vignerons (Rome). Deep amber/red color with a delicate fizzy foam. Aroma of flowers with spices, refreshing, some acidic notes. Flavour is well balanced, light sweet with a delicate bitter end and a touch of sour. Low body, high carbonation. Good!

Backlog. 12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s. Aroma of flowers, herbs, bread, light spices and tropical fruits. Similar flavor. Pretty decent overall. Kind of hard to drink after a while, though.

Red-amber semi-clear with a thin, slightly tinted white head. Aroma: Earl Grey with extra floral notes and caramel. Medium bodied; light caramel, pomegranate, floral with minimal bitterness.

Breja diferente que foge do padrão convencional. Visual bonito. Possui cor rosa. Refrescante, mas não dá pra beber várias. Com o tempo, mesmo não sendo doce fica enjoativa. Boa acidez e carbonatação. Forma pouca espuma. Vale a degustação.

The aroma of the grapes and roses. The flavor of rose and flowery. But rather watery too. Light bitterness that disappears quickly. Not impressive beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

341ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, pink-ish golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Fruity, floral aroma, hibiscus notes. Taste is dry, slightly fruity, floral, hibiscus, rose hip. Reminds of the 5pm-served hospital supper accessory-beverage handed over in lustreless white dishes, as was current in the 1970s (except for- maybe - the serving temperature).

Colpito positivamente.

Pours clear reddish pale amber with one finger of short-lived off-white head, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is berries, light wheat, floral, light yeast. (6/10) Taste is moderate sweet, low bitter, slight tart. (6/10) Medium body, moderate to low carbonation, quick finish. (3/5) Not all that great: reminds me of some of Innis & Gunn’s better products - e.g. the Cherrywood. It’s sweet and fruity, but without a lot of depth to back it up. The hibiscus is less pronounced than I was hoping it would be, but I’m not sure more emphatic floral notes would help all that much. Not one of DDC’s best offerings. (12/20)

Magnifique couleur rosée, malheureusement, ceci constitue l’attrait principal. Pas mauvaise, mais pas de saveur suffisamment distinctive pour en faire une bonne bière non plus.

Poured from bottle. Bottled 11/14, 5.9%. Aroma of citrus and herbs. Pours a cloudy red with a pink hue, minimal head. Has a light sour taste. Light body with average carbonation and astringent finish. Like the description says, a nice brew for the summer.
