The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Bottle. Pours a deep pink red with a small white head. Aroma is very floral, fragrant, fruity, berries, a touch gummy, with some rose water notes. Flavor starts with the flowery character, very forward, picking up some of those gummy notes, more berry, hibiscus. FInishing a touch sharp and fruity. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Interesting beer, perhaps a bit too floral?

A reddish pour and a rather perfumed aroma. A too pink hue for me giving the odd sensation that I was about to taste a soda rather than a beer. Far too floral sweet taste for me. Light body and absolutely flat. I could not stomach this one but it was on tap so judging from other reviews, it could be very different in the bottle. Of course, the keg I tasted from could have been flawed or quite old as well.

Malt & humle känner man knappt. Helt ok öl! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

341ml bottle from Brewdogs Online Shop, £3.00:
Fruity with herbal & flowery notes, some rose & a good helping of wheat too. I got some tarty notes but they seem to take a back seat, the sweetness being more pronounced with the floral notes, syrup & some bitterness.
Pinkish amber & topped with a thin, slightly bubbly, white head that sits around the circumference of the glass.
Sweet & floral, some rose & hints of bitterness with grapefruit & tropical flavours coming through. Surprisingly good with a nice helping of fruits including citrus, apricot & tart with some wheat rounding things off nicely.
Light medium bodied & fairly well carbonated with a dry palate & hints of bitterness. There is some tart throughout & sourness too with a good balance; this one goes down very easily.

This one was a very good beer from Dieu du Ciel, it almost seemed like a mix between a fruit beer & an IPA with some medium strength bitterness and good fruity flavours throughout. I was definitely surprised with this one, it went down very easily & is definitely one that I’d pick up again.

Rose pink pour with a small pastel pink head. Aroma is hugely floral and sweet - really inviting. Taste is also very sweet and floral, delicate, with some of the grains, banana and faintest astringency from the wheat beer come through in the finish. Doesn’t feel like the most masculine beer but is quite enjoyable and refreshing.

Bottle on Brewdog Glasgow. Rose coloured with no head. Pretty much no aroma either. The flavour is hibiscus syrup with spice and soda. Didn’t do it for me.

Very red in colour, slightly fizzy with hardly any head. Hardly any nose, just a little sweet. Quite sodary with a slight hint of bop. Quite fruity and very drinkable but not very beery?
