On tap at Fieu du Ciel. The color is a hazy amber with a thick beige head. A strong and good aroma of hops " Centennial hops". The taste also of hops and citrus fruits. It lives a bitter taste in your mouth that last a long time.

Amber color, with a white head, yeasty, fruity peachy, light marmalade, citrusy nose, with a floral hop minty, piney, cedary accent, and some mild coniferous notes and a light toasted caramelized malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet toasty, caramel, biscuity malt, flowery hop dry leafy, resiny, piney character, with a faint minty, cedary, confinerous, also kind of bitter fennel accent, with some warmth candied peachy, orange peel, apricot fuitiness, leading towards a warming, sweet toasted malt, dry hopped, leafy, piney bitterness finish.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Tap at the brewpub. Pours a nice mostly clear light amber witha atight head and a nice lace. Aroma is fruity hops - centenial citrus, and american-like, slight carry, spric earhy and a light caramel malt. Flavor becomes more resinous citrus, pine, citrus, with caramel malt, hop resin, citrus, and a slghtly tough heavy hop resin lingering on the tongue, good clean bitterness overall, and an easy drinker for a DIPA- simiar to some other decent to gread east coast style DIPAs. Nice.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2009
A nice amber ale with a thick white head. A pleasant C-hops aroma with caramel, fruity esters, licorice. In mouth, a classy I2PA with good c-hops, pink grapefruits, tangerine. Very well balanced. A pleasing quaffable I2PA. On tap at brewpub, April 8 2009.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 DYCSoccer17 (2788) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 14, 2009
Several snifters on cask at Dieu du Ciel in late March. First and foremost, this is an IIPA. So I don’t know why it is listed as an American Strong Ale. The aroma has lots of piney and citrus Simcoe hop aromas. This is also pretty sweet with some husky aromas. So damn aromatic. Very quaffable. Mildly, scantly hazy orange-amber body with a fluffy, creamy off-white head. Starts with a nice pine tree hop flavoring. Becomes very sweet and chewy in the middle with a light astringency before a lightly ethanolic character makes a cameo. Finishes with more piney flavors that suggest Simcoe hops. Very tasty. It’s nice to see the Quebec brewers starting to use some high alpha hops. Made me feel like I was back in Cali. I’m surprised and saddened this beer is rated so low.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a warm copper color with a creamy off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Features balanced malts and hops in the aroma. Has a waxy grapefruit flavor with plenty of bite that mellows as the beers warms slightly and reveals a chewy caramel finish.
4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 bedainedebiere (493) - Terrebonne, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 18, 2009
Excellente!

On tap. Pours gold-amber with a small head. Aroma of hop-pine and flowers. Flavor is a bold assortment of fruit, citrus, flower and pine flavors. Starts with ripe fruit and transitions into a beautiful hop finish with tasteful bitterness. Body is medium-thick throughout, and flavor is hearty. A great DDC brew.
