COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The light amber colour of this beer conceals an important cargo of hops. It’s light effervescence allows for the discrete fruity taste of the malt and the pronounced bitterness to be better appreciated. The aromas of fruits and hops spread over the palate and cast a spell over all who dare to taste this beer.

Pinte à DDC (Montréal). Robe ambrée, collet mousseux blanc. IPA correcte, bonne amertume, mais moins complexe que la Corne du Diable, qui demeure la grosse IPA de DDC.

Rating #2800. On tap at Dieu du Ciel, pours a cloudy orangey red with a small off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, full of oranges and tropical fruits, with loads of citrusy hops. Flavour is quite bitter, with tropical fruits (mangos, pineapple), bitter grapefruit peel and just enough dry caramel malt. Very pungent and flavourful, especially given the 5% ABV. Excellent stuff!

From notes. Pours a nice golden orange with a slight tan head. Aroma of malts, slight spices and caramel. Noticeable alcohol, slight citrus and nice hop bitter.

Consommée directement chez Dieu du Ciel. En fut. Excellent bière goûteuse. Look caramélisé. Saveur de noix rôties.

On tap at Dieu Du Ciel - 03/03/12. Hazy amber with a small white head. Malty, bready taste with a small amount of citrus. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Drinkable but didn’t do a lot for me!

The worst of the best I’ve had tonight. Just a decent, if not overly good IPA. Hoppy, bitter. Amber, cloudy colour. Half decent tracing. On tap at DDC.

Very nice. A milder IPA, very tasty. Brown-ish amber colour. Round smooth bitterness from the restrained "hopping". Long finish of mild bitterness.

Tap. Moderate malt notes of roasted and pretzel-like breadiness, moderate flowers, perfume and orange for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with some faint spice and dark dried fruit in the background. Head is average to large, frothy, slightly off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy orange/red. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, creamy with a soft carbonation. Nothing too fabulous about this IPA but everything aspect about it blends well with each other.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Flowery and grainy aroma. The flavor has pale grain, with floral and earthy hoppy notes. Not bad.

Sampled at the brewpub, in company of S8n on September 17, 2005. This cask IPA was rated at 6% ABV on the chalkboard. This was my first time seeing a brew poured from the cask, which was done by pullling the big wooden handle, a couple of times. It pours a foamy head with excellent retention. The colour is a rich amber. The aromas are floral and fruity, but yet mild. Very smooth mouthfeel that is flat and slight syrupy. The taste starts off slight fruity and finishes on mild bitterness with a long aftertaste. A very nice smooth fruity and bitter IPA.
