The light amber colour of this beer conceals an important cargo of hops. It’s light effervescence allows for the discrete fruity taste of the malt and the pronounced bitterness to be better appreciated. The aromas of fruits and hops spread over the palate and cast a spell over all who dare to taste this beer.

Clear copper color with a white head. Musty, metallic hops in the nose, and a biting bitter braggart resemblance in the flavor. Semi-sour oranges with some off-flavors that I can’t describe better than being "metallic".

Pour was copper amber with a nice off white head...smell is grapefruit and some maltiness...taste is mild but well balanced between the malt hop...some bitterness to the finish...

2005 RBSG Montreal Saturday. Golden amber colour with a fizzy and creamy offf-white head. Grassy, caramel, piny, and light citrus aroma. Caramel, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine flavours with a piny and pithy bitter finish. Medium bodied, somewhat juicy mouthfeel.

Draft at the brewery: Poured orange with a thick beige head. Very similar to the Chaman except in alcohol content. Not much aroma. Flavor is moderately hoppy. Bitter finish. Decent.

Cask conditioned. Nice amber/copper body topped with an average off-white frothy head. Good hoppy (fuggle) aroma with spicy and roasty notes. Robust hoppy taste that may lacks some complexity. Ends with a long and lovely bitter finish. Enjoyable IPA.

Cask at the brewpub. Powerful sweet hoppy bouquet. Mouthfeel is a bit thin; hop flavors much more subltle than the bouquet. Could drink this all night.

Cask. Very hoppy aroma, deep amber, slim custard head. Taste is amix of hops malt and citrus. Creamy smooth, well balanced, slightly bitter finish. Terrific!

Golden body and a clean white head. Seemed very light for an IPA. Lots of buttery diacetyl in the nose and flavor. Earthy, woodsy hop presence. Bitter finish. Too buttery. An English-style IPA, but regardless, I was unimpressed with this.

Cask conditioned. Cloudy copper color with a medium bubbly head. Amazing aromas of hops and caramel. Huge, incredible flavors of hops and caramel that float on a nice cloud of happiness. Very good and enjoyable.

Orange amber, small head. Light hoppy aroma, slight sweetness .Strong bitterness welcomes you at first sip, the more direct bitterness in the middle. Goes straight to kill your palate. Rough peppery diamond . Needs more polish.
