A hazy orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy, while the hops have a lot stronger presence in the flavor, which besides being sweet, also have notes of caramel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 3, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2005 slightly hoppy aroma and pale gold in colour. Malty bsicuity taste with mild floral hops, alsmost with fruity qualities, vanilla like and herbaceous. 6-3-6-3-12
Cask version: Golden orange ale with a big bubbled white head. Light floral hops in aroma, restrained. In mouth, llight malt and floral hops, and caramel, more British in style. A bit light to my taste. Night of the YeHaa 2005. 7-4-7-3-13
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeMcPhee (6966) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 11, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Amber hazy pour. The aroma is earthy and hoppy. A little bit of light/medium crystal malt. A touch of woody/earthy hoppiness. Dry and woody but the caramel adds something it could do without. Not a whole lot of real bright character that I usually go for. UK-style but lacks finesse.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 3fourths (6406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Clear copper color with a white head. Musty, metallic hops in the nose, and a biting bitter braggart resemblance in the flavor. Semi-sour oranges with some off-flavors that I can’t describe better than being "metallic".

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sammy (6120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2006
Special offering brought in to Bar Volo as a charitable offering. Very full flavoured English IPA. More bitter than others I have had in the style, and yet restrained and balanced in a way the American IPA is not, with flavorful non-C hopping and British malting. Simple and satisfying and a good choice by Jean-Francoise and Stephane to bring.
