COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The light amber colour of this beer conceals an important cargo of hops. It’s light effervescence allows for the discrete fruity taste of the malt and the pronounced bitterness to be better appreciated. The aromas of fruits and hops spread over the palate and cast a spell over all who dare to taste this beer.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white and lacing head. Aroma is mild hops fruity. Light malty, solid bitter and mild hops fruity. Dry, herbal and almost spiced hoppy. Slowly increasing bitterness leading to a solid dry finish.

A hazy orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy, while the hops have a lot stronger presence in the flavor, which besides being sweet, also have notes of caramel.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2005 slightly hoppy aroma and pale gold in colour. Malty bsicuity taste with mild floral hops, alsmost with fruity qualities, vanilla like and herbaceous. 6-3-6-3-12

Cask version: Golden orange ale with a big bubbled white head. Light floral hops in aroma, restrained. In mouth, llight malt and floral hops, and caramel, more British in style. A bit light to my taste. Night of the YeHaa 2005. 7-4-7-3-13

Draft...RBSG2005... Clear, burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, off-white head. Floral nose. Mild hops. American black tea. Well-balanced flavor is lightly bitter with unsweetened black tea, juniper and lemon zest. Medium-bodied and creamy with light carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter and dry.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel. Poured a hazy yellow color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of citrus, some fruitiness, and pine. Tastes of the same with some older caramel.

On tap at Dieu Du Ciel - 03/03/12. Hazy amber with a small white head. Malty, bready taste with a small amount of citrus. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Drinkable but didn’t do a lot for me!

Special offering brought in to Bar Volo as a charitable offering. Very full flavoured English IPA. More bitter than others I have had in the style, and yet restrained and balanced in a way the American IPA is not, with flavorful non-C hopping and British malting. Simple and satisfying and a good choice by Jean-Francoise and Stephane to bring.

Tap at the brewpub. Amber hazy pour. The aroma is earthy and hoppy. A little bit of light/medium crystal malt. A touch of woody/earthy hoppiness. Dry and woody but the caramel adds something it could do without. Not a whole lot of real bright character that I usually go for. UK-style but lacks finesse.

Clear copper color with a white head. Musty, metallic hops in the nose, and a biting bitter braggart resemblance in the flavor. Semi-sour oranges with some off-flavors that I can’t describe better than being "metallic".
