COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mahogany coloured beer has a caramel malt bouquet accompanied by the light aroma of hops. The caramel malt taste sails wonderfully into the mouth alongside a fruity taste brought about by a trio of hops.

Wow!

draft at DDC, Montreal. very nice ESB, caramel colored pour, caramel/toffee back bone, british bitterness, fruity underneath maltiness. good flavor, nice

Lukaduke (2263) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Pours a rich amber color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is a bit of spicy malt, wet grass and hint of toffee sweetness. Palate is crisp bitter and focused. Nice underlying malt complexity adds to the body and hilights the bitterness nicely.

En cask au pub. Rousse. Belle mousse blanche dense. Malté. Grain torréfié. Banane. Légèrement vanillé. Biscuit. Très bien.

Pours hazy dark brown with a finger of dense white head. Minmal aromas of malt. Flavours of malt, biscuit and hints of rye. An excellent ESB on cask at Dieu du Ciel.

Pours muddy brown with a fairly thick slightly off-white head. Aromas of yeast malts. Tastes of raisins and dark fruits. Overall I’m not sure this is a traditional ESB but it is quite tasty and super smooth on cask like this.

Draft, Rye bread aroma, bitter, not Trappist at all, thin and color enough. Nice and didn’t have all the English stuff in it.

Decent ESB. Pours reddish brown with go Rest head and lacing. Oaky taste with malt and might good. Average carbonation. Tap at brewpub.

On tap @ DDC (Montréal). Clear golden/amber with a small beige head and good lacing. Aroma is light with citrus, grassy hops and light vegetable. Taste is slightly sweet and about the same as aroma with a touch of caramel and a light bitter finish. Light to medium body. Slightly watery. Average carbonation. Not really complex. Drinkable. Average beer, but good ESB.
