Cask, Bridge Hotel, Thrapston, Northants. This was pulled by someone who looked like Des Kaye’s uncle of Little Britain fame. Vaguely disconcerting. As for whether I dig this digfield..... It was dark orange with a stained white head. Strongish aroma that mixed sweaty socks with some malt and fruit; also vaguely disconcerting. A dry bitter affair that was just about acceptable.

Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light touch of fruit, and so is the flavor, with a slightly bitter finish.

Cask Stillage at the Charotar Patidat Samaj, Leicester 18/03/2006 Bronze coloured with a pungent aroma. Slightly fruity flavoured and very hoppy. Crisp slightly bitter and dry on the palate with a full malt finish.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. An amber coloured beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is very unpleasant; bad farts and straw notes. The taste isn’t a lot better. Very dry and crunchy bitterness. More straw and a little cornflakes. Wanted to like this but alas.
