Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, straw, vomit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110428]

On cask (handpump) at the Hobgoblin, Reading on 28 April 2011. Bright amber colour. Thin white head. Decent, lively condition. Some tropical fruit and citrus with a fruity malt backdrop. Moderate bitterness. Nothing particularly remarkable here but it’s an agreeable, tasty, drinkable drop.

Cask handpull at Hobgoblin Reading. Lear amber colour thin lasting near white head. Tasty enough bitter with some pear and light yellow grapefruit and an earthy dryness on the finish. Tasty enough. Would have second one

Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured slightly fruity and hoppy with some bitterness and dryness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask at Peterborough BF ’07. Pale amber. Gentle malt aroma. Marmalade malt taste and a mid bitter finish. Fair pint.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2009 Cask conditioned - handpump - OGs Wellingborough. A mid brown coloured beer. The aroma has fruity malts and a touch of hop. The taste is dry with some reasonable hop levels. Drinkable without setting any shacklebushes alight.Score 3.2
