3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6729) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 8, 2011
Onctuous creamlike, cream-colooured head, over ruby tinted foxy-brown beer. Caramel, toffee, toasted malts and sweet alcohol; faint cigarette smoke in the background. Peas, toasted and roasted malts, scorched sugar (Maillard?), sweat. Ends drier and spicier than expected. Richly bodied, very slick, alcoholwarming. Not bad, not overly special... don’t know, but I get a certain homebrew feeling.
