   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20

Very good, dense, faintly amberish tinted head over well-carbonated foxy amber bere, cloudy and riddled with volcanicaly erupting, upwelling utterly ugly UFO’s. Wave of wild fruit in the nose - and a touch of Brett?!? Rhubarb, bit of caramelmalts, but not suggesting sweetness. Again wild fruit and agàin an impression of Bretts - halfway between the lambic and the floormop variety. Ends on some faint caramel, and some vague fruity esters. Spices are there, but not overwhelming. Warming up, some strange aromatics, reminding me of aftershave, whilst the Brett impression fades away. Well carbonated, seriously alleviating the slickness & body. And now for the $ 10,000.- question - where are the cherries? Or put differently: how much were actually added? Maybe as many as the masking spices? And (UUUU) where the hell do they get that gruesome looking yeast?

Lot 201016. Light red coloured beer with no carbonation what so ever and a very small white head. Strange peppery fruity hinted beer with hints of candied cherries. Medium palate. Finish is fruity with some strange hints of wood and peppers. Short dry almost cardboard fruity touched. Not my thing.
