Die "Dikke Mathile" ist eine Blondine, die abgeschnallt hat und vor einem Stadttor liegt. Das ganze Etikett in blauweiß macht einen schlechten Eindruck. Das Bier selbst ist mittleres, leicht trübes Bernstein mit ordentlich Schaum. Ein Aroma nach vergorenem Steinobst gepaart mit Hopfen, delikat! Im Antrunk dann wiederum hefig-fruchtig und trotz des Alks sehr süffig. Der Aromahopfen puffert den Kandiszucker im Sud gekonnt ab. Fazit: Gutes Bier in schäbiger Flasche!

0.33l bottle shared @ Restaurant Lieve, Amsterdam. Lots of sediments in a dark golden body. it has a quickly sidesticking little white head. On the nose it’s quite low and somewhat anonymous. I get some sweetness and a swiff of fruits. Not much more. It’s average on the co2 with a light thin oily mouthfeel. Flavors also somewhat blend, hints of Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Ends with a thin but present bitterness. Light metallic in the aftertaste. Forgettable. 27.09.2012

Bottle. Pours amber with no head at all.Aroma is fruity, light sour yeasty. Taste is moderate sweet malts, with a bitter dry end.

Reddish brown colour, white head. Aroma of candy sugar, cookies, caramel, fruit, apricot. Sweet malty flavour, overall sweet, caramel, candy sugar. Quite light finish, light malts, sweet candy sugar, light fruity notes.

Het mondgevoel is wat zwak. De afdronk vind ik wat bitterig wat ik niet lekker vind bij een amber biertje. Prima te doen, maar geen speciaal bier. Zou het niet nog een keer nemen.
