3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 walter (359) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 22, 2007
Draft at the brewery. Copper color with white head. Not much in the aroma department-- some faint maltiness and underlying bitterness. Flavor is mild caramel malt with some crisp hop bitterness in the finish. A bit watery throughout. Not bad at all, very drinkable, but not a knockout.

Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Amber color. Caramel, toffee aroma. Taste is caramelly, mild earthy hops, hops mostly for bittering. Not too bad for what it is, a light amber lager.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 henry3r (586) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - JUL 3, 2007
The 12 ounce bottle poured a flat-but-clear orange-amber colored beverage with a small, creamy, white head that was mostly diminishing but that left good lacing on the glass. The aroma had a light, sweet and fruity fragrance to it. There were notes of caramel with a very light floral hop backdrop. The body was medium with a soft carbonation and a creamy, smooth texture. The flavor started out sweet and stayed that way through the medium-long finish. There was even a slight alcohol warmth in the chest.

Bottle. Aroma of bready malt, german hops and malt. The flavor is a little roasted. Mostly noticed the caramel malt, bready malt, and yeast.

On tap at the brewpub. Light copper amber in color with a thin off white head. Aroma is a sweet doughy caramel, but not strongly pronounced. Carbonation level is high making the beer have an unpleasanrt palate when coupled to the thin body. Drinkable, but not memorable.

12 oz Bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer of The Month Club. Pours a semi clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is subtle-a bit of toasted grain, some vanilla, and lager yeast. While I am not a fan of the style, this is one of the best i have tasted. It starts with some vanilla, toffee, toasted grains and there is even some fruity esters underneath, some apricot and melon. Light/medium body. Low/moderate carbonation. Very tastey and refreshing. A high quality craft beer that i could easily drink several of.
