2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 arminjewell (4206) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Pour on tap is slight orange with thin white head, aroma brings notes of some slight caramel, hints of earth, grass in there but a touch of buttery diacetyl in there. Taste brings the diacetyl to mix with caramel and biscuit notes, hints of grass, finishes fairly dry but slightly sweet.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 20, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Light copper amber in color with a thin off white head. Aroma is a sweet doughy caramel, but not strongly pronounced. Carbonation level is high making the beer have an unpleasanrt palate when coupled to the thin body. Drinkable, but not memorable.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Aubrey (3347) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 7, 2003
Bottle: Clear and deep amber with a tinge of copper. Head almost completely disappeared, but it had a lively carbonation. Malts were very bready, grainy and husky. Minuscule amount of sweetness. Finished with a healthy amount of dry bitterness. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Not too bad, though it did seem a little unbalanced.

Pours a nice amber color. Nice sweet malt nose with a hint of hops. Taste is caramel, with mild hops and a touch of fruit.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 alexanderj (3082) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Bottle courtesy of golubj; poured an orange amber, small quick diminishing head. Aroma was nice with caramel, toffee and bread. Flavor was of toasted malt, caramel and a slight hop hint. Good mouthfeel; somewhat creamy.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 theisti (2843) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 11, 2011
4 oz taster draft at the brew pub in Dillon, Colorado. The pour is a clear golden, with a smallish off white head. Aroma is not much, maybe a hint of sweet malt. Taste is lightly clean malt sweetness, some nice floral, even a touch of lemon in the back. Much more flavor than I was expecting from the soft nose. Palate is thin to medium, coats mouth a touch, the after taste lingers some. Overall a tasty Amber Lager.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SpringsLicker (2836) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 3, 2004
Nothing really going on in this beer. A little more maltiness is needed to provide a flavor that catches up with it's appearance. No real faults just rather plain and unexciting. Proabably much better on a ski trip in the Colorado Rockies than from the bottle in TN.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 29, 2003
Maybe it was that I was drinking this at the chalet by a roaring fire after a day schussing the pistes of Breckenridge, but it tasted mighty good. Semi-flavorful and pleasant.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 22, 2006
I am beginning to think to myself as I look at their offerings and say, why did I drive all the way out here again? Reddish auburn coloring with a small fizzy white head. Lots of honey and caramel in the nose, but the palate is quite light in body, with a flavor that matches the nose to a t. Light, with some crisp acidity, that gives the after palate a nice little bite. An interesting beer, but not something to write home about.

Draft at the brewery while dining sans kiddos. Sometimes Viennas can get a little boring but this is not one of those times. Nice, sweeter malt character. Good.
