COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber colored and medium-bodied, this Vienna-style lager has a slight toasted/caramel malt taste with a mild hop finish. It's slow-brewed with bottom fermenting yeast and German hops.

Pour on tap is slight orange with thin white head, aroma brings notes of some slight caramel, hints of earth, grass in there but a touch of buttery diacetyl in there. Taste brings the diacetyl to mix with caramel and biscuit notes, hints of grass, finishes fairly dry but slightly sweet.

Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Amber color. Caramel, toffee aroma. Taste is caramelly, mild earthy hops, hops mostly for bittering. Not too bad for what it is, a light amber lager.

Bottle. Gold pour. Grainy and malty aroma and a surprisingly bitter flavor. Unpelasantly bitter actually. Not one I would go back for more.

Golden rule of beer drinking - the funkier the name, the crappier the beer. This watery brew has a horrible sweet flowery hop taste, like someone has put a shot of orange squash in the bottle. Better than Budweiser, I suppose. I’m pleased to say I haven’t seen this close to home.

Draught. Pours brassy-copper with a white film and lined lacing. Aroma is floral hop and malt (grain, meal) and yeast (dough, sweat). Moderately acidic and bitter malty grain flavor, hay and sweet yeast, grassy. Light bodied and chalky palate.
