3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 IndianaRed (1798) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 3, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2005 Bottle Pours a hazy orange golden color. Very small thin head and traces of white lacing try desperately to cling to the sides. Decebt citrusy hops aroma, rather IPAish. Flavors were also dominated by a citrusy hoppiness and a lingering bite was left as a trailer. Light to moderate palate, good for the style I suppose.

Bottle: I loved this beer, but it seemed more like an IPA than an American Pale Ale. Anyway, it was a slightly hazy gold color with a small, white head. It has citrus aromas (especially grapefruit) and tastes. Malts went almost unnoticeable. Overall, very enjoyable! I would drink again.

NABA ’05: Light PNW hops lend to the toasty malts and a light body. More bitterness than the nose would lead on to and then the mouthfeel falls flat leaving you empty and craving more. Body is to beer what salt is to food.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Crosling (1863) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - APR 4, 2005
Dark copper color. Nice doughy malt in the nose with a huge dose of earthy, piney, lemony aromatic hops. Coating, rich and earthy hop flavor, fresh and piney. Pretty suprisingly good and perhaps one I might actually purchase someday.

When I went to the brewery this was my favorite. Have bought it a couple times when looking for a light pale ale and have enjoyed it. Head is a bit weak and so is the aroma but it’s a nice change of pace when your looking for something hoppy but not on the mega scale of American IPA’s. Also, a bit more approachable for friends of mine that are not hop heads like me ;-)
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jigglyjock (161) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 18, 2005
Pours a semi-clear light brown with almost no head. Smells of sweet hops and malt. Tastes bitter hops and then transitions to a malty floral flavor. Medium body which lets a hoppy malt flavor to linger in the mouth.

The Extra Pale pours a cloudy golden amber with lots of small floaties. It has a smallish head that quickly goes to a thin film that laces the glass.
Its aroma is strong piney, citrusy hops.
The flavor is biscuity malt with a good piney hop bite and bitter aftertaste. It is a little on the thin and watery side.
Overall, a nice APA. It’s kind of similar to Hazed and Infused. I wonder if this is dry hopped as well.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2013 Orange copper, fresh hoppy taste, nice light piney sweet hop flavor, a little soapy, however. Nose is a nice dry-hopped profile of sweet fruity hops, lots of citrus smells.

Tasted in the Denver Colorado area. Tasted in Dillon at an approximate 9,156 ft above sea level altitude. Whoopie..........here we go:
Light amber colour, clear with a small lasting head. Scent of lavender and hony. Nice.

This had a generous amount of hops, but really, that’s about all I tasted - the malts were thin and were overpowered, but were slightly bready/burnt toast. Not bad, but not above average either. I’d try it again.
