My favorite at the Dillon Dam brewery. Mildly hoppy with a slight bight, but smooth finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery was orange with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, biscuit, hints of spicy and grassy hops, touch of orange and grapefruit as well. Taste is a mix of spicy and grassy/pine hops, hints of caramel and biscuit, finishing fairly bitter. Nicely done!

Bottle. That a friend brought back from Colorado. Poured a hazy orange color with a smaller white head. Left mininal lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was pines, citrus and grass. Flavor was sweeter malts up front with hop bitters in the finish. Well balanced. A dam good beer!!!
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 theisti (2441) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 11, 2011
12 oz bottle at the Two Below dinner and show. Pour is a copper golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, along with herbal, orange citrus and earthy hops. nice balance between the two aromas. The taste follows the nose, though lacking a bit of "pop". The caramel malt starts, the herbal orange and earthy hops follow. The aftertaste picked up an ever so slight vegetal taste which detracted a touch. The palate was light to medium bodied. Overall, nice enough APA.

Tap at brewery. Copper amber appearance with a medium sized amber colored head. Medium deep malty aroma with a light hoppiness. Medium bitterness with a dull hoppy flavor reminiscent of an ESB. Medium copper malty body.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Nikiel (715) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Bottle at ACBF. Pours light gold. More flavor than expected as an extra pale, with a fair amount of hops, but not particularly well balanced.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tmoreau (1350) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - SEP 7, 2010
12 oz. bottle poured to my 1/2 pint tasting glass with a cloudy, orange/amber hue, average, off white, bubbly head foam, and a good cling to a large band of lacing that spawned many streaks and dots down the interior of the glass. The aroma was perfumy, tropical fruit as pineapple, a little citrus, and sweet currants. The flavor added to these an initially pleasant, then lasting, moderate hop bitterness, less than medium body, followed by a dry finish. A nice APA, but I wouldn’t consider it a strong variety.

120z bottle via trade with tgenenbacher, thanks Todd! Pours a slightly hazy peachy gold with a 1 finger rocky off white head that has good retention. Aroma is full of sweet caramel, fig, fruity floral and light citrus hops, toffee and plant hops. Flavor is caramel, citrus, toffee, white bread crust, salty meat and very faint vegetal notes. Palate is light to medium bodied a little syrupy on entry leading to a fairly dry finish with a light carbonation. Not a bad APA.

Bottle thanks to bman1113vr. The look is golden in color, not much white head. The smell is malts, floral, grains, and cardboard. The taste is slight bitterness, malts, sweet, and ok.
