Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is medium brown.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (molasses, caramel), with a note of diacetyl.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately to heavily bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Unbalanced with a yawn-inducing aroma. Eh. luckygirl (1212), Longmont, Colorado, USA Jan 10, 2006 Had this at the brewery. Beer poured a clear, dark-amber color with a small, creamy, off-white, mostly lasting head. The aroma was moderately malty with notes of roasted grain and lightly hoppy with a note of herbs. This also had miscellaneous notes of light vanilla and smoke. The flavor was lightly sweet with a short, lightly bitter finish and seemed a bit unclean and hot. The body was light-to-medium, the texture was creamy and the carbonation was fizzy with a light alcoholic feel at the end. Not really a complex or engaging brew.
