Great toasty carmelly brown. Carmel malts contribute a big portion of this beers flavor. Almost no hop aroma and mainly contribute the the bitterness at the end. A great malty brown ale.

I see that my rating is quite a bit higher than everyone previous to me. I simply LOVED this beer! It had a sweeter taste with a defined caramel finish. The after taste lingers in your mouth like a refreshing dessert. Maybe it was the altitude, but this beer did it for me!

Reddish brown with a nice staying tan head. Very creamy character. Light nutty flavors and not overpowering. Good choice for a cold night’s drink-fest.

12oz bottle from Paul U. Chocolatey brown pour with a head that quiclu fades but leaves behind nice lacing. Not a strong aroma but it has nice chocolate notes to it. Flavor is sweet with more chocolate and caramel. Nice creamy mouthfeel and smooth clean finish.

Tap at brewery. Fairly deep brown appearance with a brown colored head. Creamy mouthfeel. Slightly nutty flavor with a delicious brown malty flavor. Sweet malty finish and aftertaste. Only beer at Dillon Dam Brewery worth a Damn.

Definitely the best out of the sampler, pour on tap at the brewery was dark brownish red with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, nuts, hints of cocoa powder, hints of earth and grass as well. Taste is a mix of sweet caramel and nutty notes, hints of grass, cocoa powder bittering it out a bit, finishing fairly dry. Nicely done!

Medium brown colour. Bold nutty aroma and flavour. Quite sweet, but with complex nutty, toasty malt notes. A little watery in the finish but otherwise a good example.

On tap at brewpub. Pour is clear brown with a frothy tan head and great lacing. Roasty, brown sugar, caramelly, earthy, light coffee, grassy, graham crackers, and bready aroma. Taste is brown sugar, dark fruits, bread, lightly grassy, roasty, vanilla, and earthy. Medium body with soft carbonation. Not a bad brown.

Frothy, off-white head -- rather diminishing -- with nice lace. Clear and deep reddish-brown. Texture was light, soft and creamy; some watery sensations here and there, but they were easily overlooked. Nice flavors and aromas in this beer, even though they're a little subdued. Sweet, nutty and chocolatey. Maybe even a little woody, too. Finishes with a mild bitterness. Doesn't hit you over the head with flavor, but I thought it was pleasant to drink. Pretty dam good brown.
