1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap @ Murray´s at O´Connell Str, Dublin. Pours golden with a white soon disappearing head. It´s impossible to call this beer disgusting. I don´t call water disgusting. Tasteless and drinkable are better words for this beer and water. And dull. Dull is the right word.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at Sober Lane with my dinner. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a lasting white head. Looks like a great lager. Aroma is kind of off-putting - buttery popcorn, caramel and cidery apple notes. Taste is much better - malty sweetness, very light bitterness and a vague sour hint. Very moist palate and a good lively carbonation. Quite a decent lager, but still nowhere near as interesting as what the other new Irish breweries are producing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Murphy’s Bar, Killarney. This is an attempt to wean the Great Irish Public off the mass produced lagers that are available everywhere. It’s a good start. I’d say it’s golden in colour rather than pale. Moderately sweet. No issues with drinking this. A good start - maybe other styles will follow?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle (Tom Creans Irish Lager). Pours clear gold, a touch watery looking. Not much head. Malt and a little citrus on the nose. Not too thin in the middle. A touch of butter in the finish. Its a pale lager so not going to be mindblowing, but a decent representative of the style.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle. Pours golden with thin but lasting white head. Aroma is grain, slight herb, grass - fairly muted. Taste is decent, grainy notes, biscuit, herbs, light citrus note. Almost Creamy nature to it - high level of carbonation but suits well. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit limp, but quite refreshing nevertheless.

On tap in John Benny's, Dingle.
Dark golden lively pour with a decent white head. Aromas of hops, grain, citrus, silage. Very refreshing and flavoursome. Good carbonation. Great session beer if you're in Dingle.
