12oz bottle poured into a tumbler. Clear gold color, small white head. Bready and grainy nose, with faint floral hops and grass. Plain malt flavors, lo bitterness, grains, some vegetal notes. Light body, somewhat dry, OK for style but nothing much beyond that.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Named after. Tom Crean, of Anascaul Co. Kerry, Ireland
Tom was a real Antarctic hero of three expiditions with Scott and Shackelton. The beer is my favourite of the moment
it is smooth, crisp and easy on the stomach, unlike many of the mainstream lagers. It gets my juices flowing!

Almost no aroma. Yellow as urine. Smooth texture and super drinkable but it's like drinking water.

Pale and fizzy. Had this on Draft in Liverpool. Went to Dingle soon after. Should have waited to have it there. Oh well

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A decent but not outstanding beer from Dingle in Ireland. The foam is flakey and the first taste, while fresh and slightly herbal, has little carbonation and the body and aftertaste are not strong. Not a bad beer but nothing special.

There’s a hint of honey or something in it. It’s solid and you could probably drink quite a few before you got sick of it. Unlike other beers you’ll get sick from it before you get sick of it. Lovely draught served in Fitzsimons in Dublin. Ironically, the Crean’s I had in Killarney wasn’t that good. Overall - lovely aroma, balance, taste and aftertaste (something some of the other microbrews lack).
