Tap in Dingle. Pale yellow colour with white head. Faintly sweet and bready aroma. Taste is slightly malty, bready, some hops, but quite faint. Light and refreshing. Good for the style.

stravale (2041) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - JUN 4, 2014
Bottle from Old Stand, Mullingar [040614] 4.2% bottle
Golden blonde, slight haze, thin white head, slight lacing
Aroma - almost noting, slight pale malt, but no nasty stuff
Taste - sweet pale malt, soft cereal, slight bitter hop, touch of honey, mainly light pale sweet malt, very little hops, not much going on
Palate - soft carb, light body, fairly sweet. Finish as main flavour
Overall - Very clean, soft, pale malt lager, not much hop, easy going, no metallic crap or chemical tasting junk in here - as a simple lager it’s not bad at all, considerably better than the usual macro lager shite

mzaar (1508) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2013
On tap @ Murray´s at O´Connell Str, Dublin. Pours golden with a white soon disappearing head. It´s impossible to call this beer disgusting. I don´t call water disgusting. Tasteless and drinkable are better words for this beer and water. And dull. Dull is the right word.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep gold, small white head, no lacing. Aroma of hay and corn, taste is that plus honey and lemon. Easy soft finish, full mouthfeel, better than the macros

On tap at O’Flaherty’s in Dingle. Pours a clear amber with a nice-sized head. The bear has decent body and a mildly hoppy flavor. Clean and crisp on the tongue.

330ml bottle (Tom Creans Irish Lager). Pours clear gold, a touch watery looking. Not much head. Malt and a little citrus on the nose. Not too thin in the middle. A touch of butter in the finish. Its a pale lager so not going to be mindblowing, but a decent representative of the style.

Smooth lager flavor. Recipe similar to a macro but more clean and more flavor.

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler. Clear gold color, small white head. Bready and grainy nose, with faint floral hops and grass. Plain malt flavors, lo bitterness, grains, some vegetal notes. Light body, somewhat dry, OK for style but nothing much beyond that.

ACD (618) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 1, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours golden with thin but lasting white head. Aroma is grain, slight herb, grass - fairly muted. Taste is decent, grainy notes, biscuit, herbs, light citrus note. Almost Creamy nature to it - high level of carbonation but suits well. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit limp, but quite refreshing nevertheless.
