Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong-malty, quite sweet. Fruity hints of peaches. Finish a bit alcoholic, less sweet, woody notes. Could be more balanced.

Bottle by 23.8.12. Honey malt with a harsher florality. Orange body with a rocky beige head. Taste is only faintly sweet with a much greater bitterness that eventually comes to dominate. Clover honey, drying, white and Welch’s grapes, spicy hops in the back. Layered malt that hides the alcohol pretty well, medium body, overall pretty well crafted but darned if I don’t have to stop after a couple of ounces.

Okay.Test vom 16.6.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, big beige foamy head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is bready malts, some sweet malts as well as some mild notes of liquorice and grassyness. Flavour is being quite much the same with a rather dry bitery finish. Quite different Bock from the very traditional ones.
