I had this beer on draft in Eisenach, Germany. The color is clear and golden with a frothy white head. The taste was sweet but hoppy with a dry, herbal-tasting finish that lingers in your mouth. I love this beer.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Clear yellow body. Strange potato peal herbal aroma with a spicy note. Thin herbal spicy dry flavor with low carbonation and unfortunately a long aftertaste.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, hay, straw, toasted, light toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091129]

Golden beer with a small white head. Sweet malt and some floral hop in the nose. The flavor is about malt, caramel and a grassy hop. Avarage but a little bit better than the other boring lagers.

It’s golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of malt, flower and light straw. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of flower, caramel, malt and the finish is slightly dry. I like the harmony and balance in this fine and smooth beer.

bottle. Clear pale golden yellow, large head. Hoppy nose. Medium- to full-bodied, pleasantly malty with spicy and grassy hops, hints of hay.

The bottle looks good, but a little bit too white. The beer in the glass is very zippy, but the foam disappears really fast. Starts modest spicy, mild, becomes sourisher in the end. Still spicy, drinkable. Not bad.

pivnizub (8888) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2008
Bottle: Clear golden, quite stable fluffy white head, sweet strawy to pale-malty nose with a tinge of cooked vegetables; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF; sweet pale-malty finish with an increasing, dryer bitterness towards the aftertaste. Not so bad........

MoritzF (8493) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2007
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Slightly perfumed, moderately sweet malty nose with a tinge of honey and shy hoppy notes. Light sweet, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt character with a light fruity shine, also some hints of cardboard; quite uninspiring light-sweet, faint bitter finish with minimal traces of hops. More a pale Lager than a Pils..

[Bottle from Little Germany] Amber colour, large but diminishing head. Grainy malt character, citric hop accent and some dry grass. Light body, dry, hoppy finish.
