Süßlich-hopfiger Geruch mit schalem Unterton (Pilze aus dem Glas). Hopfiger und etwas muffiger Antrunk, der dennoch die beste Seite des Bieres zeigt. Es folgt ein eindimensional herb-trockener Mittelteil und Abgang.

This beer has a dark amber color and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and light fruit. The flavour has a light to moderate sweetness and notes of caramel, malt, light fruit and the finish is dry with hints of citrus.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, hay - grass, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass - hay, dusty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100622]

Bottle, 4.9%. OK bready aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. Grainy flavour, but with a good spiciness from the hops.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a dense white head. Light breadish to spiced aroma. Flavour is dry breadish with a light spice note. Ends with a mild spice note and medium dry. No real bitterness.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to light amber colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty nose with caramel, a touch of marzipan and faint hoppy notes, saying in the background. Light-sweet, light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a crispy carbonation. Soft, slightly toasty malty taste with light notes of caramel and herbal hops coming up towards the slim and very light bitter finish.

Well, a quite nice thuringian brew........
