Bottle. Golden colour with a medium mostly diminisshing white head with a nice lacing. Rather weak malty aroma with a bit fruitiness. Flavour is crisp, malty, good hoppiness with a little sweetness. Some bitterness in the finish. Nice German pilsener beer. Prooooost for that!

bhensonb (7586) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 14, 2007
Nice aroma of light noble hop and some pale malt. Light brassy gold color with a white head that flattened rapidly. Medium bodied. Lightly carbonated. Light flavor of sweet pale malt balanced by grassy/hay hop. Mildly bitter in the finish. Completely inoffensive.

hopscotch (7535) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 25, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2004 Clear, straw-colored lager. Large, frothy, white head. Pretty darn good retention and subtle, stringy lacework. Just a touch lightstruck in its green bottle, but a good, patient sniff will pull out some very light earthy, floral and citrusy notes. The flavor is well-balanced, but otherwise nondescript. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Mediocre beer, at best.

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2010
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Moderately sweet and mildly grainy aroma with shy hint of hops. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Subtle grainy malty taste with a tinge of cardboard; quite dry and slightly malty and hop bitter finish. Inoffensive, thus boring brew. 03.I.10

Bottle. Clear straw color with a large fizzy white head that was lasting. Light hoppy citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light bitter sweet flavor with a short finish. Worth trying once.

3fourths (6406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 4, 2007
Bottle. Stenchy, sweaty corn and ripe, sweaty hops in the nose, with some old, sour grains as well. Sharp and biting up front, more oily over the middle. Standard corn, lemon and sour cereal grain flavor. Pretty poor example of a German pils.

Light gold with a thin white head. Sour malt aroma with a hoppy nose. Malt flavor with hop notes. Mild to light palate.
