Quite skunky. Weak, yet poor flavor.

12oz bottle from sample pack. Pours a light gold color with a big bubble bath head the quickly disappears. Little to no lace evident. Malty aroma with earthy notes. Wheaties on the front with a bitter skunky middle that lasts to an almost astringent finish. I would’nt fly to Germany for this one.

One that’s been around for a while, that I recently revisited. I admit because of the attractive price at $11.99 for a 12 pack. I had forgotten about the decent maltiness on this one. Nice head froth that stays with the beer. Good carbonation, hoppy aroma evident, not overpowering. Not a great one, not a bad one, but an excellent choice for something to drink on a daily basis..

No head when poured. Horrible smell with a taste just like it smelled. No color, very clear and some sort of nasty grassy flavor. Not recomendable and not wotrh spending money on again.

Not the best, but after buying a 6-pack for about $1 in France, I grew to really like the stuff... It’s a decent, middle-of-the-road, pils. Too bad it goes for $7/6-pack here in NJ.

Light frothy head. Noticeable skunky odor. Somewhat of a bite. Flavor lingered on well after finishing.

Bottle: Appearance is light golden, canary-crystal with a bright, foamy head that diminishes quickly but leaves behind a well developed Bavarian Lace. Aroma is quite subtle with balanced hop/malt character. Initial taste explodes with bright citrus, a pleasant sourness and malt sweetness deepening into a substantial but smooth bittering. A far greater deal of hop character evident is in the taste, far more than the aroma indicates. The aftertaste is lingering, a warm bittterness and sweeter background aroma. Slick, buttery mouthfeel that sticks around and provides a richness to the aftertaste. I’m a big fan of classic pilsener styles and this has become one of my favorites.

Still my favorite of the sublime, quenching German style Pils. It may not be as complex as a Barley Wine, or as hoppy as an Urquel - but anyone can be hit over the head. I enjoy the subtle qualities and smooth, melanoidin malts balanced with Saaz hops the D-A has to offer.

Very clear, very light...unpleasant aroma (skunky). The taste differs significantly from the aroma. Would not recommend.
