Blond, straw color in appearance with perfect two fingerhead. Not much aroma, but perhaps my cold is to blame. Inital clean taste of chewy malts. Nice mouthfeel. Warming alcohol aftertase with nice balance. Nothing offensive here. Overall a solid pilsner.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is classic on dry malt, aroma is medium sweet with dusty hops and very peppery at the finish.

Enjoyed on tap with a co-worker at Bierkrug in Heidelberg, Germany. This one was just OK, I was looking for a Franciskaner and was given this by the bartender who just poured it for us as I think it was the only beer they had on tap that night. Appearance a clear gold with a rich white head. Aroma mostly of malt and lager yeast. Taste mostly of malt and lager yeast. It went down pretty nicely, not my favorite brew of the evening but not bad.

From a 500 ml can. Yellow/golden with a medium head. Smells a bit hoppy and a little bit of citrus. At first, it tastes fruity and a bit sweet, at the end rather dry with a medium bitterness. Medium bodied anda dry aftertaste

Can tell its a mass produced pilsener, it tasted similar to St. Pauli and Becks. It was easy to drink, just been there drank that before.

Macros all the way. Well...it’s not as offensive as its smell. The nose is very skunky, all harsh malts in the nose. Metallic notes with a slight citrus undertaste. Did not like this much. Since I got it at the train station that might say something.

330 ml bottle in Germany. Clear yellow with short head. Aroma is hops and cardboard. Taste is much the same. Mouth fell is like a cola. Palate is bitter and lingering. Not very good at all, but slightly better than US Macros. I never liked this stuff 20 years ago and it has not changed a bit.
