12 oz bottle no freshness date.
Pours a dark brown with reddish hues around the edges.
Small tannish head disapates quickly.
Dark bready aroma dominates, with a little caramel sweetness.
Body is thin
flavor is roasted malt, with some nutty sweetness. ehhh.

Pours a dark brown with ruby hues. Thin tan head that is mostly receding. A very mild aroma of dark bready malts with some caramel. Taste of roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel is thin and slightly watery. Finishes slightly sweet and moderately bitter. Not terribly complex, but pretty good. Aroma needs some work. This beer tastes better than it smells.

Pours dark brown with aroma of some dark malt, slight nuts and chocoff. Light palate, and lacking in balance and complexity.

Pours dark brown with an off white head. The aroma is malty and sweet, I thought I smelled hints of apples. It is light in malty flavor and goes down smooth. There is a little bit of an aftertaste, but overall it was nice.

Dark beer with a light malty aroma. Small tan head. Flavor is good and as expected for a dunkel, malty with a touch of sweetness and a bit of bitterness. Pleasant and satisfying. Label on mine says brewed by Spaten in Munich. $6.99 for a sixer.

Not bad, fun beer to drink. Good beer to share with lesser friends who don’t deserve that magnum double bastard.

Dark red with a big beige head. Faint sweet malt aroma. Flavor of sweet malt, caramel and nuts. Sweet finish.

Sweet and spicy nose; pours like pepsi leaving no head; faintly nutty and malty, watery and unoffensive, vaguely dry finish
