UPDATED: AUG 18, 2005 From the bottle at Yeoman’s Road Pub. It doesn’t look like a flavorless watery lager/pilsener from Germany, but guess what.......There is some malt flavor there and some caramelt, but it tastes like it was added to 11 ounces of water.

Kind of a boring beer to me. It had a nice dark amber color with a creamy white head that quickly disappeared. Malty flavor, slightly roasty, and malty aroma.

Deep amber body with moderate carbonation and a thin grayish-tan head. Well-toasted sweet malt aroma with some fruitiness and chocolate. Flavor is very malty and bready with notes of chocolate and nuts. Medium body with some mild chalkiness. A decent dunkel.

Bottle. Dark reddish-brown with a medium white head that rapidly diminishes. Light malty aroma with caramel. Flavor is similar with a little bitterness in the end. Not too bad.

Clear dark brown fomay light tan head. Light clean bready malt aroma. Decent malty caramel and bread flavors. Medium-light bodied. A decent enough beer just not very exciting.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2008 [bottle - Great European Beerfest 8, Sharp Edge Tavern - East Liberty, PA] Poured a clear brownish/red color with a very thin tan head. Slightly sweet chocolate and coffee aroma. Flavor is the same way. Slightly sweet with hints of roasted chocolate and other malts. Watery body with a sweet finish.

Mild, slightly sweet, chocolatey flavor with good body, The aftertaste turns into something less savory than the initial flavor. Feels a little too heavy.
