Pours a coca-cola brown with a coca-cola head. Aroma light, a little malty, but not much there. Hint of hops. Flavor is mostly malts. Caramel and Coffee notes, generally. Slight hoppiness but just enough to catch a hint of. Overall, Not bad, but nothing special.

Bottle, thanks afire! Dark amber pour thin head not much lacing. Thin carbonation. Some caramel and malts in the aroma. Roast and slight flavor of fruity spice on the pallet. Very nice drinker, a little thin towards the end but still enjoyed it and reasonably priced!

(GERMANY) There is a reddish brown color with a med-foamy tan head. The aroma is of brown sugar / toffee. The flavor has a silky smooth caramel taste with med - carbonation. This is a very delicious dunkel, and it did not take me very long to put this one down !!!! :)

Naka (630) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2008
Pours a dark opaque reddish brown color. The head is about 1-finger light tan. The aroma is dark roasted malts. Molasses and raisins. Taste is pretty mild. Some caramel, prunes, with a slight toasted bitterness. Mouthfeel is light, yet creamy. Leaves a slight burnt bitter flavor. Very drinkable, but not anything too special.

Dark, clear, reddish brown (almost garnet); initially a large, frothy, eggshell to tan head that becomes a ring but can be easily resurrected by swirling. Light aroma; bready malt with some nuttiness and not much else, sadly. Flavor fairly light, also; similar to aroma with the addition of some caramel; finish is barely bitter at all. Frothy mouthfeel; lightly sticky. Overall, nice appearance and mouthfeel, but the flavor and particularly the aroma are bland.

Pours a brown color with a white head. Has a sweet hoppy aroma. Has a sweet flavor, mild chocolate and nut accents and some mild bitterness. Not bad.

Not a bad beer at all. Both draft & bottle(if fresh) It has a bit of a sweet taste & more aftertaste than I want but all in all most fair. I like warsteiner dunkel much better though..
