(bottle) Nice slight yeasty aroma. Appearance is a dull see thru brown. Flavor is a clash of water and hop bitterness. Nothing to rave about, but smooth and drinkable. Its healty but definetly not one to reccomend to fans of the dunkel style.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle best i’ve had from this company. Pours a light brown body with some malty caramel aromas. A little like a bock but more like a pils. Not bad for shop rite.

Jun 19, 2008 Draught at Schnitzelhaus Tampa. Cola brown body with a smallish white head. Dissipates quickly and leaves minimal lacing. Nose of nutty bread, caramel, molasses, chocolate and malt. Flavor profile carries over all of that, with the focus on the malts and nutty notes. Pretty damn tasty beer, actually, and quite a bit underrated in my books. Medium bodied, could use a little more heft but probably pretty true to style. Finish is medium-long, nuts, caramel and sweet malts play out. Surprising.

Jun 13, 2008 A fairly rich aroma with a bit of molasses. Quite light and easy, but has a good sweeness in the finish, maybe a hint of chocolate. Good stuff.
