(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, minimal off-white foamy head. Sweet and a bit dusty strawy aroma with a whiff of cara-malt. Sweet flavour, cara-malty and slightly bready taste, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation: medium-dry, malt-accented finish with a rounded hoppy bitterness. Solid Festbier. 24.X.07

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really, there’s not much foam and not much CO2. Flavor starts sourish, finish a little bit more spicy. Only an average beer.

Bottle (Danke, Stephan): Golden, with a quite stable smaller lacy head, sweet-malty, bisquity nose with a tinge of toasted malt; moderate to strong btter-sweet flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; traces of hops and bitterness in the caramelly-malty finish. A very decent brew......

(Bottle 50 cl) In this version called "Dinkelacker 50 Jahre Baden-Württemberg". Fully golden with only a tiny head. Very soft and malty with a high degree of sweetness and only a hint of hops. Very delicate. 061202
