COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly available bottled.

An honest, earthy and refreshing golden ale with a classic aroma of cedar and herbs. On the palate a light lemon/grapefruit flavour develops under the cedar for a truly distinctive character. The beer leaves a rounded taste in the mouth wanting you to take more.

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton 21/08/ A golden coloured beer with a white head and lace. A weird smoky ashtray thing going on that I’ve encountered in apparently hoppy beers before. The fruit behin id acceptable but it’s all a bit odd. A bit of bleach too?

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; clear light amber pour with a frothy white head, floral and herbal aroma, taste has slight pine, with some strange medicinal, light citrus.

DruncanVeasey (7309) - NUNEATON, Top 23, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2014
The Felix, Nuneaton, 09/08/14. Orange gold under a thick white cap. Negligible faintly piney aroma under that fat collar with apricot hints and perfumed coriander. Respectable bitterness. Sadly buttery soft moussed flab in the mouth with stale soapy pine and black olive off notes. Coriander again or parsley. Weird. Totally overshadowed by Citra.

Bottle shared at ChrisO. Clear golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly fruity, a hint of alcohol, a hint of raisins somehow, slightly sweet. Average body and carbonation. Hmm not very good imo.

Disappointing. Weak aroma that fades quickly. Taste bitter and citrus but poor aftertaste which was thin. Bit chemical tasting. JWD N’ards

Cask at JDW, brewed by Brecon. Dark gold with a lasting fine head, sweetish golden fruit nose leads to a dry-sweet body, fruity with marmalade and peach, touches of biscuit and a sharp citrus bitterness lurking in the tail. Nice.
