This beer has obviously changed in recent years due to a slightly warmer fermentation temperature. It still is pale golden with a somewhat fruity (apricot-like) malt aroma and an intense herbal hoppyness in the nose, light to medium body, crispy carbonation. Well-balanced malt and hops character; dry bitter and hoppy finish

Jul 7, 2008 50cl bottle. Pours very pale see through yellow - almost invisible - with a white foam. Watery, bitter grassy hops, sharp & citric!

Jun 28, 2008 500ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. Salty lager. Big nasty cheap hop extract or some such shit. A dusty, throat catching rather unpleasant bitterness on top of a cheap malt. This is nasty stuff.

May 5, 2008 The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass not very zippy, much foam. Starts malty-dry, turns washy. Finish is a little bit scratchy. I didn’t like it.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is sparkling clear light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a light note of metal.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly metallic.
The suggestion of metal in the nose appears in the finish, but otherwise this is a nice, bright north German style pils.

Nov 13, 2007 Strong corn aroma. Very light yellow color with a medium white head. Corn taste with very mild hops.
