An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel - and so is the flavor, but there are also some odd notes, that I can’t pinpoint, but they don’t suit me so well.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Dark amber-coloured, slightly off-white head. Surprisingly high carbonation. I would normally expect a light caramel-sweetness in a beer of this type. But here I find a rather harsh hoppiness. Slightly disappointing. 270405

Bottled. A mid brown beer actually quite macho looking, but not dark enough for a dunkel IMO, with a tiny off-white rim of head. A malty German lager with a sweet slightly nutty aroma and taste. Clean and very easy to drink.
