COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Export this earth with a pronounced malty beer owes its subtle caramel note the use of selected malt. The slight sweetness - smooth and round in Nachtrunk - not only inspires the ladies. A caress for each beer throat.

(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a beautiful and stable off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with aspects of dark bread, caramel and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium to light body, crispy carbonation. Toast-malty, bready taste with caramel and a touch of honey; medium-dry, soft malty, slightly bitter and hoppy finish with an aromatic length. A fine Landbier.

bottle, thank you pivnizub! Clear amber colour, large head. Malty nose. Medium bodied, solid and intensive malty with some nice hoppy herbal flavours. Hints of caramel and toffee. Slightly fruity, especially in the lingering malty finish. A pleasure to drink.

JorisPPattyn (7909) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2007
Draught Clear lighter chestnut beer with good amberish head. Very much caramel, even toffee, slightly roasted - like the honey on a pigroast. Slightly syrupy, but not cloying caramel sweetness, ending with some grass in the finish. Well-bodied, slick and nearly viscous. Nice and interesting. Exists once a year unfiltered (which must be truly great, IMO), making it apt for this category, but the usual version is rather considered a Münich at the brewery.

Bottle. Strong molasses (sorghum) malt aroma. Medium tan clear color with small head. Sweet malt with hint of caramel - not too strong. Decent body and higher carbonation than typical Landbier.

Bottle. Bright bronze with a fine white cap. Garden herbal aroma with mint, wax, toffee and orange smudges. As you were in the mouth; oily hop, herbs, toffee, plus some lamb and mint sauce. Bread and caramel emerging in the finish. Slick and oily with a dip of marzipan and cake. Fine, but nothing worth rushing back to..
