COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Export this earth with a pronounced malty beer owes its subtle caramel note the use of selected malt. The slight sweetness - smooth and round in Nachtrunk - not only inspires the ladies. A caress for each beer throat.

Draught at Altstadhotel, Baunachshor, Wertheim, Germany. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a two-finger off-white foamy head that retained well and laced well. Very low carbonation. Aroma of earthy malt, sweet caramel and subtle hops. Taste not a lot initally and fades to a earthy malt with a bit of citrus. Light body. Short slightly sour malt finish. Slightly better than the Distelhauset Pils.

Bavarianbeer77 (53) - München, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2005
( Bottle, 0,5 Litres ) This dark beer obtains an airy coffee-like aroma, a clear brownly colour, but the body lacks of a flavoursome stimuli. Only slight condimental notes appear. Although the after-taste is a bit slimy , this dark beer is all in all still drinkable. --- 15.08.04

A nice mid red/brown colour. Clear with a nice natural carbonation. Clean and crisp on the nose with slight malt, citrus and toffee/caramel notes. Initially sweet with the malt lasting throughout. An underlying fruit base comes through ( like Abbot Ale ) but the malty, biscuity sweetish finish with almost a raisin aftertaste makes this a winner for me.....
