Full malt flavour with marzipan and hazelnut hints. Nice warming finish. had it with brown cabage and cold ham, lots of mustard; perfect.

Die Schaumkrone dieses Bernsteinfarbenden Bieres hält nicht so gut! Der Winterbock riecht hopfig, dunkelmalzig-alkoholisch, der Alkohol ist dabei recht intensiv vertreten, dazu kommt noch ein wenig röstmalzigkeit. Geschmacklich ist es dunkelmalzig-alkoholisch, das alkoholische ist etwas zu intensiv und das Bier wirkt dadurch unausgeglichen, im Nachgeschmack ist es dann alkoholisch in Form von bitterheit und würzig. Fazit: Leider im Geruch besser als im Geschmack!

Bottle. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, grass. Flavour is sweet, caramel, alcohol, grass, pine, hop. Medium to full body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle:Golden to light amber coloured, smaller stable off-white head, delicate caramelly-toasty with a bready-worty touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a Bock; short toasty-malty finish with a slight bitterness and a faint alcohol- burn in the aftertaste. Less impressive…

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, deep golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Bready and slightly biscuity cara-malty aroma with a shy herbal hoppy background and traces of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, surprisingly light bodied with a soft carbonation. Bready cara-malt upfront with hints of biscuits and shy herbal hops; a touch of alcohol is shining through in the finish. Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, nuts, hops, caramel and malt. Nice finish.

Sweet malt nose, dark caramel color with a leggy head. Spicey (cinnamon), sweet (maybe too sugary) and a light hop character. Pretty good balance, medium body. Surprisingly good!

bottle, donated by pivnizub! Amber golden colour, mid-sized head. Malty base, slightly grainy with a touch of caramel. Nothing special to notice here, just a decent semi-dark Bock.
