COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep copper in color, this Scottish style ale has a very malty flavor profile. Very low hop bitterness, with a faint wisp of smokiness from the Scottish Peat smoked malt.

Much better aroma than the last Scotch ale I just had. Pours a clear amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light peat, toffee, and caramel. Flavor of caramel, roasted nuts, toasted grain. No hop bitterness.

On tap sample at Custom Brewcrafters in Honeoye Falls, NY. Clear very dark copper brown with small head and good lacing. Malt aroma, chiefly caramel. Roasted light nutty, peaty malt taste with a surprising amount of hop bitterness for a Scottish ale. Medium to light mouthfeel and carbonation. Atypically hoppy for a Scottish ale.
