Not particularly hoppy, this is an alright beer. I didn’t find it particularly exciting, but not particularly bad either, it just kind of is. Decent, drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Block (864) - West Lafayette, Indiana, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Probably my favorite beer from District ChopHouse. Nice amber pour with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and so is the flavor. Nothing unusual or spectacular but a decent beer and one of the best I had here.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DiarmaidBHK (1528) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Pours light brown from tap with a thin white head. A bit of biscuit on the nose. The biscuit on the tongue is a bit more pronounced twinned with some caramel malt. Finish lingers a bit which means I probably wouldn’t session with this.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours amber with a white head. Mild lacing. Nose is amber malt with some biscuit and bread. Slight hops. Taste is pretty much just toast with some moderate bitterness. With the body this works fairly well. Good drinkability and a well made beer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jgb9348 (3494) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Copper/amber coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, nuts and not much else. Medium to Light-bodied; Mild malty flavours with caramel, nuts, raisins and some pitted fruits in. Aftertaste shows mild characteristics with only some nuts and malt going through - pretty bland indeed. Overall, a decent beer, good as an escape from some of the stronger beers, but that’s about it. I sampled this beer on draught in June 2010.
